Our Adolescents and Young Adults Team is very experienced in providing effective strategies to assist young persons find their way in life.  In respect of adolescent years, young people may face several challenges associated with physical and psychological transitional changes, overlaid with complexities associated with identity, mental health and new relationships.  Our psychologists work with individuals experiencing a range of challenges including, but not limited to:

Adult Men Mental Health Team

Our Men’s mental health team is experienced in assisting men work though a wide range of presentations and challenges men can often face at times in their life.  Our psychologists assist men to challenge themselves to better understand the root cause of their challenges, and provide practical and effective strategies, together with new skills, to cope with and overcome a range of challenges including, but not limited to:

Couples Therapy

Making the choice to attend couples counselling can be a difficult decision.  At times, it involves admitting to the existence of issues within a relationship, and the realisation professional assistance is required for resolution.

Our psychologists can assist couples work through challenges in a safe and respectful manner, and work with couples to learn to replace negative conflict patterns with positive interactions and to repair past hurts

Engage 1 on 1 Psychology also has psychologists trained in The Gottman Method, which is an approach to couples therapy that includes a thorough assessment of the couple relationship and integrates research-based interventions based on the Sound Relationship House Theory.
